Benefits of the TrueLabeling-PicoAMP Kit:
-
Sensitive: Use microarrays with as little as 20 cells or 50 pg of RNA
-
Convenient: Easy Two-Reaction, Two-Tube, Two-Purification Protocol
-
Accurate: Low amplification bias maintains original expression levels
Greater Sensitivity without Compromising the Original Profile
The TrueLabeling-PicoAMP Kit is designed to perform two rounds of
amplification and labeling of antisense or complimentary RNA (cRNA) target for
hybridization to high-density genome microarrays like the Agilent Gene
Expression DNA Microarrays or the pathway-focused Oligo GEArray® from SABiosciences. Start from as little as 20 cells or 50 pg of total RNA to generate
enough labeled cRNA for microarray hybridization. The two rounds of
amplification improve sensitivity from these samples. It provides the same
positive call rate as larger amounts of cells or RNA using standard one-round
methods. The linear RNA amplification and labeling procedure of
TrueLabeling-PicoAMP™ also maintains the original gene expression profile.

A Kit with an Easier Protocol
The TrueLabeling-PicoAMP Kit utilizes a simpler protocol than other products. The protocol involves only two purification steps and two single-tube reactions. It also takes less time to execute, only hours of hands-on time from start to finish over two days. Just add biotinylated or aminoallyl nucleotide and an RNase H Minus reverse transcriptase and you’re ready to generate labeled cRNA for your microarray hybridization from picogram quantities of total RNA.
