RNA preparation for successful gene expression profiling

RNA quality is the most important factor for obtaining good gene array expression profile results. We discuss the fundamentals of assessing RNA quality. Finally, we compare several popular commercial RNA preparation methods and discuss their advantages and disadvantages for gene expression profiling.

Characterizing siRNA effects with the NFkB GEArray

An interesting research paper recently published in Cell reported on the use of our NFkB Q Series GEArray to characterize the effects of siRNA gene suppression for key genes in the NFkB signaling pathway.

Pathway-Centric Tools and Technology: what they can do for you

We have used an underlying philosophy to develop our range of research tools. That underlying product philosophy can be summarized as: pathway-centric and integrated. The result - and the benefit for our customers - is that each product is truly a component in an integrated toolset for studying gene expression and gene function.

New, powerful and on the web: cross-reference genes with our new database tool

Our web site now has a new database tool that makes it easy to see all the SABiosciences research tools that relate to a given gene. For example, use the database tool to quickly find the RT-PCR kits that will confirm expression profile results for key genes on one of our gene arrays.
