Materials and Equipment Required for miRNA Analysis

To Analyze miRNA Panels with Real-Time RT-PCR:

RT² qPCR-Grade miRNA Isolation Kit (MA-01), for 12 RNA preparations
RT² miRNA First Strand Kit (MA-03), for 12 RNA samples
RT² SYBR Green qPCR Master Mix, to match with your instrument, 200-reaction scale
Pick up one mix for each pair of 96-well PCR Arrays.
Pick up two mixes for each pair of 384-well PCR Arrays.
RT² Profiler™ miRNA PCR Array, cataloged or customized
Be sure to choose the right plate format and master mix for your instrument [here].

To Analyze Individual miRNA with Real-Time RT-PCR:

RT² qPCR-Grade miRNA Isolation Kit (MA-01), for 12 RNA preparations
RT² miRNA First Strand Kit (MA-03), for 12 RNA samples
RT² SYBR Green qPCR Master Mix, to match with your instrument, 200-reaction scale
RT² miRNA qPCR Assay, in 200-reaction scale, for > 400 human miRNA sequences
Don't forget to include at least one housekeeping gene.

Equipment:

Any kit or application involving quantitative real time PCR requires a real time PCR system (a thermal cycler with fluorescent detection). Our reagents are optimized for high performance on all 96-well or 384-well ABI, BioRad, Stratagene, Eppendorf, and Roche real-time PCR instruments.

ABI is a registered trademark of Applera Corporation.
iCycler® is a registered trademark of BioRad Laboratories, Inc.
