| LY294002,
2-(4-Morpholinyl)-8-phenyl-4H-1-benzopyran-4-one hydrochloride, is a
potent and selective phosphatidylinositol-3 kinase (PI-3K) inhibitor. The
reported IC50 is 1.4 µM. It is supplied as 10 mM solution in DMSO, a
convenient format for using SABiosciences' cell-based ELISA assays, the
CASE™ kits.
Quality Control Assay: Cells pre-treated without or with
inhibitor at 50 µM for 1 hour and then also treated with 10 ng/ml
IGF1 for 30 minutes were assayed for pathway activation with the
CASE™ Kit for AKT S473.
Based on the concentration used for quality control purposes, this
product contains enough material for at least 200 assays. However, the
optimal conditions for each specific application should be determined
empirically, and the number of assays achievable will vary..
