GEArray® Q Series Mouse Androgen Signaling and Prostate Cancer Gene Array: MM-031

Description
GEArray® Q Series Androgen Signaling and Prostate Cancer Gene Array is designed to assess the role of 96 genes in androgen-regulated processes that are involved in malignant transformation of prostate gland. Androgen signaling plays an important role in the pathogenesis of prostate cancer, as exemplified by androgen ablation therapy for advanced prostate cancer. Activation of the PI3K/AKT/FRAP pathway has also been found to contribute to hormone resistant growth of recurrent prostate cancer. On the Androgen Signaling and Prostate Cancer Gene Array, 96 prostate cancer-related genes have been grouped into the following categories: androgen receptor and androgen receptor-associated proteins, androgen exclusively-responsive genes, androgen-independent genes, target genes whose responsiveness to androgen changes during the course of prostate malignant transformation, PI3K/AKT/FRAP pathway related genes that are associated with hormone-refractory cell growth, and genes associated with invasive prostate cancer.
