The SuperArray Bioscience Service Group provides expert gene expression
profiling services for the Affymetrix GeneChip® arrays. As an
"external core facility" our Service Group scientists quickly and
expertly perform all or part of the entire gene expression profiling experiment,
depending on your needs.
The instructions for submitting RNA samples are simple, and the
pricing is competitive with other core microarray facilities. An
order form must accompany your samples.
The experimental results remain your intellectual property. You can enter into
our GeneChips® service at any step of the microarray experiment with materials
that you provide or we can perform the entire experiment from sample preparation
to microarray data analysis:

Target Synthesis
& Labeling:
RNA quality is checked; first strand & second strand cDNA are
synthesized from your RNA samples, followed by cleanup of double-stranded
cDNA. Biotinylated cRNA target is then prepared using an IVT synthesis
method.

Clean-up of Biotinylated cRNA:
cRNA is purified and its quality is checked by gel to determine the length
of synthesized cRNA.

Fragmentation and Hybridization:
cRNA is fragmented using optimized experimental conditions and the length of
fragmented cRNA is checked by gel. Fragmented cRNA is mixed with
hybridization solution.

Detection:
Fragmented cRNA is hybridized on the array of your choice and raw expression
profile data are collected by fluorescence.

Data Management and Data Analysis:
QC data are extracted and reported, along with basic data analysis. More
specialized data analysis is also available separately.
We can now also isolate total RNA from
your cell, tissue, or fluid source of choice. Please contact a Technical Support
